The HFS pumps also feature a rugged, durable stainless steel motor which is corrosion resistant for all kinds of weather elements. The HFS Pumps have built-in thermal protection which is self-resetting automatic protection against overload and overheat conditions. High-quality double silicon carbide mechanical seals (impeller side) increase performance and abrasive resistance. This complete set of filtration pads provide biological and chemical filtration. It is recommended that the Coarse Polyester be used as the first layer and the Carbon coated material as the second layer. This produces a gradual filtration process.

Polish your water even further with Pondmasters fine polyester media for your 1000 or 2000 series filter. Can be washed and reused. This material should be used as a second layer of media for the Pondmaster filter. Pondmaster recommends a layer of Coarse Poly media as the first layer of filter material when using this product.

The Pondmaster 190 Filter Replacement Media pack includes 2 pads: one foam filter pad and one coarse polyester media pad. Using these two media together in your pond filter provides chemical and biological filtration. These pads are washable and reusable.
